GLOBAL - Union Investment Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield, Glenmont Capital Management

Union Investment Real Estate - The Hamburg-based property fund manager has appointed Heiko Beck as chief operating office. Beck will join the company on 5 September to fill the newly created role. He will be responsible for financial controlling, accounting, law and taxation, as well as central property management.

Cushman & Wakefield - Douglas Harman will join the company as a partner in the EMEA capital markets team. Harman joins from DTZ in Frankfurt, where he was most recently director in charge of the investment team in continental Europe, Middle East and Africa. At Cushman & Wakefield, Harman will focus on the generation and execution of direct mandates with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia.

Glenmont Capital Management - Stan Kozlowski has joined the real estate firm as vice-president of hotel acquisitions. In his new role, Kozlowski will continue to expand Glenmont's hotel platform by focusing on new hotel opportunities. Prior to joining the firm, Kozlowski was a senior vice-president at CBRE Hotels Finance, where he was responsible for a variety of hospitality transactions, including workout and restructuring services, debt and equity procurement, hotel sales and other services for clients in the hotel sector.

Resolution Capital - Robert Promisel has joined the investment firm as a global portfolio manager based in its newly established New York office. Promisel was previously responsible for concentrated global REIT strategies within international funds management businesses and has worked in the US and the UK. He joins from V3 Capital Management, where he was most recently global real estate securities analyst.
