GLOBAL - DTZ Holdings, Alpha Real Capital, Picton Property Income

DTZ Holdings - Paul Idzik and Robert Rickert have resigned as directors of the company and are no longer members of the board. The board has appointed John Forrester, currently head of the UK and Ireland, as chief executive, while James Thomson, currently CFO, has been appointed group finance director. Both have also joined the board. Rickert and Idzik decided to leave the company after making "substantial progress" with the cost-reduction and restructuring programme for which they were recruited two and a half years ago, DTZ said.

Alpha Real Capital - Nick Friedlos has joined the company as a partner. He was most recently chief executive at Mapeley, and before then was chief financial officer at London Merchant Securities and Trillium. Friedlos - who has more than 30 years' property, financial and operational experience - will work with the senior management team at Alpha on the development of the business.

Picton Property Income - Picton Capital has signed an agreement with the existing manager, ING REIM, in which five of its employees will transfer across to Picton with effect from 1 January 2012. The employees are all members of the former ING UK Real Estate Income Trust team and will rejoin chief executive Michael Morris and finance director Andrew Dewhirst.
