GLOBAL - Partners Group, Lazard, CB Richard Ellis

Partners Group - Nori Gerardo Lietz has stepped down as a partner at the Swiss firm, Partners Group, and will return to providing investment advisory and strategic consulting services. Gerardo Lietz, who joined Partners Group in 2007 and who also was chief strategist for private real estate - as well as a member of the global portfolio investment committee and the private real estate investment committee - will focus on teaching at the Harvard Business School. She will also dedicate time to further researching and publishing on topical industry issues. She will continue to provide consultancy work to Partners Group and make recommendations to the firm's global portfolio investment committee. Prior to joining Partners Group in the San Francisco office, Gerardo Lietz was managing partner and chief executive at Pension Consulting Alliance, a real estate investment consultancy firm, which she co-founded in 1988.

Lazard - Max von Hurter has recently joined the Swiss bank Lazard in the London office as vice-president in the real estate team. Prior to joining Lazard, he was a vice-president in the real estate investment banking team at Crédit Suisse, where he advised real estate companies on strategic matters including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, restructuring, equity and debt offerings and financings.

CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) - Gene Pride has been appointed as senior vice-president at CBRE's Stamford office. He will spearhead the Stamford Private Capital Group, which handles the sale of assets valued between $3m-15m (€2m-10m) throughout the northern suburbs of New York City, including Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Before joining CBRE, he was a senior executive in Cushman & Wakefield's investment team in Colorado.
