GLOBAL - Gothaer, Benson Elliot, Blackstone, LaSalle, Wainbridge, Henderson, CBRE, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield.

Gothaer Asset Management - Gero Perlitz, previously head of real estate at Versorgungswerk der Architektenkammer Nordrhein Westfalen, the mandatory first-pillar scheme for architects in Germany's most populous state, has joined as senior portfolio manager. In his new role, he will oversee around €800m of assets and work with external asset and fund managers. Markus Habbig, meanwhile, has joined as property portfolio analyst.

Grosvenor Fund Management - Nick Preston is joining Grosvenor after 20 years at CBRE Global Investors. Preston will be director of porfolio mamagement with responsibility for the investment performance of all funds and mandates in the UK. He was most recently head of operations and a senior fund manager at CBRE Global Investors.

Benson Elliot Capital Management
- Georg Strassner and James Jakeman join with responsibility for the German-speaking and UK markets, respectively. Strassner, previously managing director and head of real estate management at Strategic Value Partners, worked with Benson Elliot's managing partner Marc Mogull at Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate between 2003 and 2005. Jakemam most recently worked for Société Générale as head of UK real estate, overseeing lending and debt investments. He was executive director at Lehman Brothers real estate principal investments team for eight years until the bank folded in 2008.

Blackstone - Jon Gray, currently global head of real estate, has joined the company's board of directors, holding a number of positions -  including senior managing director and co-head of real estate - since he joined in 1992. In addition to his role at Blackstone, Gray currently also sits on the board of the US Pension Real Estate Association.

LaSalle Investment Management - Joining from PBB Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, Roberto Carrera has been named head of European financing. Reporting to Jamie Lyon, director of finance and operations at LaSalle Europe, Carrera will oversee all borrowing and debt arrangements for the Continent.

Wainbridge - After 17 years at Hines, Christophe Leriche has been named Wainbridge's new head of France. Leriche was most recently Hines senior project director, but held a number of positions over the course of his tenure. He has also worked for Bouygues Immobilier, with experience in both property investment and development.

Henderson Global Investors - John Feeney, co-founder of Bank of America's European and Asian real estate lending platforms, joins as head of real estate debt. Working closely with the property and fixed income teams, he will be charged with driving business as traditional lenders exit the market.

CBRE Global Investors - Alex Bignell, formerly fund manager for the Goodman European Logistics Fund, has joined as UK head of global multi-manager (GMM), overseeing almost half of the company's global investments. Bignell will join the GMM management board, sitting alongside head of Continental Europe Sander van Riel, head of Asia Pacific Adrian Baker and Scott Brown, who oversees the Americas.

Savills - Marcus Lemli has been appointed head of investment for Savill's European operations in London. He joins from Jones Lang LaSalle in Germany where he was head of the capital markets and leasing business. Savills has also establisehd a dedicated commercial property team in New Zealand, with Doug Osborne and Paddy Callesen appointed as joint managing directors.

Cushman & Wakefield - Nina Jansen and Andreas Gast are leaving Jones Lang LaSalle to jointly lead the property and asset management business in Germany and have been made partners. Jansen will be based in Dusseldorf, Gast in Frankfurt. Meanwhile, Digby Flower and Andrew Parker have joined as partners from CBRE, heading the London markets division and City of London agency, respectively. Frederico Montero has also joined as a partner in the debt advisory arm of the EMEA corporate finance team in London. He has spent four years in KPMG's corporate finance team.
