NETHERLANDS - SPF Beheer, the manager of the €11.8bn railway fund SPF fund and the €2.3bn Dutch public transport workers' pensions fund SPOV, says it will invest €75m in real estate in the nursery sector.
"We want to invest around €75m in the nursery sector," the Utrecht-based fund manager said in a statement.
The company wants to include around 100 buildings in its KiDafo real estate fund which was established in January.
"It seems a success," SPF Beheer's director general Albert Akkerman told IPE.
He added: "We have already bought five buildings and at this moment we are negotiating about eight others."
