REAL ESTATE - Beat Schwab is to replace Alois Weibel as managing director of Credit Suisse’s Swiss real estate services arm Wincasa.

Weibel is to retire from January 1 next year, the firm said in a release.

The firm employs around 300 people, who manage over 100,000 rental properties throughout Switzerland. It was created in 1999.

It said the 40-year-old Schwab has a doctorate in political science from the University of Bern, as well as a MBA from Columbia University in New York.

She’s a former real estate analyst at an investment bank is currently a senior manager at a facilities management firm.

Weibel, general manager at Wincasa since 1999, will join the board.
