Compenswiss, the manager of Switzerland’s social security funds, is seeking European real estate managers via IPE Quest.
According to search QN-2398, the CHF37bn (€31.4bn) investor wants to allocate €60m-€100m “per investment” to core or core-plus funds.
It is open to considering European funds including or excluding the UK, as well as UK-only funds.
Funds should be denominated in euros, but UK-only funds can be sterling-based.
The target leverage of the fund should be 50% or lower, Compenswiss said.
Managers submitting tenders should state performance net of fees to 30 September 2017. They should have at least CHF500m under management in real estate and at CHF5bn under management in total across all asset classes.
The deadline for tenders is 31 January at 5pm UK time.
Frank Juliano, head of asset management at Compenswiss, spoke to IPE last year about the fund’s investment strategy and Swiss pension reforms.
