EUROPE - Citigroup Property Investors has hired Alasdair Findlay-Shirras from Henderson Global Investors as director of business development for Europe.
"It is my pleasure to announce that Alasdair Findlay-Shirras has joined Citigroup Property Investors as director, business development and client relations for Europe and the Middle East," said James Green, global head of CPI marketing and client relations.
Findlay-Shirras was formerly director of institutional marketing at Henderson, it said. No one at Henderson responded to calls and emails requesting comment.
He will report to Green and Roger Orf, head of Citigroup Property Investors in Europe.
Before joining Henderson in 1997, Findlay-Shirras had roles at Hypovereinsbank, Bankers Trust, Merrill Lynch and Grindlays Bank.
"I am very pleased to have Alasdair on board," Green said in a staff memo. "Please join me in welcoming him."
