CBRE Global Investors has bought two office assets in the US for Korea Post, its second deal for the investor.
The investment manager said its US managed accounts group bought the Midtown I and II office buildings in Atlanta.
The properties, both considered, core class-A buildings, total 794,110sqft and are fully-let to AT&T.
“Atlanta boasts a diverse economy and continues to attract major corporate users,” said Jeffrey Torto, senior managing director, US Managed Accounts Group.
“Atlanta is quickly becoming a technology and data centre hub for companies looking to relocate or expand outside of the traditional technological hubs such as Silicon Valley and Austin, Texas.”
Midtown I and II also include 13,257sqft of ground floor retail.
In 2013, CBRE Global Investors bought 161 N Clark Street, a 49-story trophy-quality office building located in downtown Chicago, on behalf of a consortium of Korean investors led by Korea Post.
