CBRE Global Investors has bought a logistics portfolio in Spain.
The investment manager acquired 16 assets totalling 250,000sqm for a separate account client.
Metrovacesa and Parques Intermodales Gran Europa sold the portfolio, in the third ring of the Henares corridor, along the A2 motorway between Madrid and Barcelona.
Ten of the assets are let to DSV, Luis Simoes, FM Logistics, XPO and Logiters.
The portfolio is around 94% let.
Jeroen de Grunt, portfolio director for separate accounts in Continental Europe, said: “Our client is actively acquiring logistics assets across Continental Europe.
“This high-quality portfolio has an attractive tenant mix and shows a clear upside potential.”
Jose Antonio Martin Borregón, managing director for Spain and Portugal at CBRE Global Investors, said the acquisition confirms the company’s interest and confidence in the Iberian Peninsula.
Rockspring recently invested in a Spanish logistics park for a separate account client.
The investment manager bought the Torrejón Logistics Park in Madrid for an initial €28m.
