Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors received a further €125m worth new capital commitments for its Dutch residential and office funds during the first half of 2019.
Bouwinvest, which is owned by the €61bn Dutch pension fund BPFBouw, said the Residential Fund raised €100m in new capital commitments after receiving backing from one of its existing clients, the pension fund for the Dutch employee insurance agency UWV, and also from a new investor - a pension fund advised by Kempen Capital Management.
The Residential Fund focuses primarily on the mid-range private rental market in the Netherlands and had a total invested capital of €6.1bn, as of 30 June 2019.
The Office Fund also received €25m in capital commitment from Dutch insurance company Achmea Schadeverzekeringen, a follow-up to the €25m it already has invested in the fund.
The Office Fund, which focuses on sustainable multifunctional, multi-let assets primarily located in the big cities in the largest cities in the Netherlands, currently has invested capital of €900m and four clients.
