NETHERLANDS - Blue Sky Group, the Dutch pension fund manager which runs the KLM pension fund, has made several real estate appointments.
It named Raymond Satumalaij as fund manager, real estate. Satumalaij takes over from Jan van der Pol, who retired on June 1.
And Marleen Verhaegh has been appointed strategist for real estate and alternative investments. Previously, Verhaegh worked for Achmea Real Estate and Schootse Poort, the former Philips Pension Fund.
The outfit has also appointed Francis van Bergenhenegouwen as head of commercial affairs.
Van Bergenhenegouwen will be responsible for the new commercial strategy of the group, where the focus will be on the expansion of management and services to Dutch and international pension funds.
Previously, Van Bergenhenegouwen was institutional sales manager at financial group Delta Lloyd, where she spent four years. She also has worked in the same capacity at Robeco Asset Management.
In May Blue Sky named MeesPierson’s Marcel Blom as its new fund management head.
