GLOBAL - AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (AXA REIM) has appointed Dennis Lopez as global chief investment officer.

Lopez joins from Sun Real Estate, where he was chief executive, and will report to AXA REIM chief executive Pierre Vaquier.

He will head up all AXA REIM fund management activities and will be responsible for the quality and consistency of investment services, as well as the performances
delivered to all of the fund manager's clients.

Lopez has over 23 years experience in the investment industry, both in investment banking and real estate investment management, and has particular knowledge of the US, European, Indian and Russian property markets.

Prior to Sun Real Estate, Lopez was global head of real estate at Cambridge Place
Investment Management, and before that had several assignments at JP Morgan,
including managing director and head of European real estate.

"Dennis will coordinate the management of the complete range of AXA REIM funds, and will contribute to the expansion of AXA REIM activities, bringing his global view on business and key expertise for managing our clients' portfolios with excellence," said Vaquier.
