Japan Government Pension Investment Fund, Mitsui Fudosan, Universal-Investment, Global Custodian State Street, BMO Real Estate Partners, Grosvenor Europe, Hines, Standard Life Investments, Knight Frank, JLL

Government Pension Investment Fund – Hideto Yamada has joined as a head of real estate at the world’s largest pension fund, according to Asterisk Realty. Yamada worked most recently at Mitsui Fudosan. He spent eight years with Mitsui in the UK, where he was managing director, before returning to Tokyo, having been replaced in April last year by Eiichiro Onozawa.

Universal-Investment – Frank Eggloff has been named managing director. Eggloff joins from Global Custodian State Street and will be in charge of finance and controlling.

BMO Real Estate Partners – Kamila Bouyahiaoui has joined the firm’s Paris team as a senior analyst. Bouyahiaoui was most recently fund management analyst at Grosvenor Europe and has also worked for Hines France.

Standard Life Investments – Mark Clacy-Jones has been appointed fund strategist. Clacy-Jones joined in January from Knight Frank. Prior to this he was at MSCI Real Estate and head of indices at IPD.

JLL – Miroslav Barnas has been named country manager for the Czech Republic in Prague. He will lead the Czech business alongside his existing responsibilities as country manager for JLL’s business in Slovakia. Tewfik Sabongui leaves the firm after 16 years as country manager. Barnas originally joined King Sturge in 2006 to set up its office in Bratislava. Following JLL’s merger with King Sturge in 2011, he continued to run the Slovakia business.
