BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management – Nils Hübener has been appointed European chief investment officer, joining from SEB Investment. Hübener follows Barbara Knoflach, who 12 months ago left SEB to become global head of investment management at BNP Paribas Real Estate, following the sale of SEB to Cordea Savills, now Savills Fund Management. Prior to joining SEB Investment, Hübener worked with Deutsche Bank Real Estate.

Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance – Onno Hoff has been named director of real estate fund management. Hoff, who was previously at Pin Oak Asset Management, will also act as fund manager for the Achmea Residential Fund, the Achmea Dutch Value Added Residential Partnership and the Utrecht Residential Fund. Hoff began his career at Bouwfonds and Heijmans. From 2008 to 2014 he was managing director of residential investments and fund director of the ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund.

Mitsui Fudosan – Eiichiro Onozawa has been named managing director, succeeding Hideto Yamada who is returning to Mitsui Fudosan’s Tokyo business. Onozawa joined Mitsui Fudosan in the UK in 2014. Prior to this, he was senior vice president of Mitsui Fudosan Americas.

Vonovia – Ariane Reinhart has been nominated to succeed Gerhard Zeiler, who will step down from his position on the supervisory board at his own request.

Cushman & Wakefield – Marina Usenko has been named a partner in the company’s Russian hospitality and tourism department. Usenko joins from Starwood Hotels & Resorts where she has spent more than two years as development director for CIS and Baltics.

BNP Paribas Real Estate – Tom Marsden (City leasing) and Jonjo Lyles (industrial) have been made senior directors within the firm’s agency teams. Ashley Layton becomes a senior director in the retail agency and investment team. Vik Shukla, a director in BNP Paribas Real Estate’s valuation team, is also promoted to senior director. BNP Paribas Real Estate has also appointed several directors including Amelia Cross (legal, London), Barry Rushmer (facilities management, London), Daniel Parry-Jones (residential consulting, Bristol), Ewan Mackie (valuation, London), James Owen (occupier management, Birmingham), Neil Majithia (valuation, London), Nick Hillard (facilities management, London) and Oliver Forster (investment, Birmingham).

Cording Real Estate – René de Heus has been named director of investment for Benelux. De Heus previously worked for FGH Bank as a real estate manager. Before joining FGH Bank in 2014, he spent four years at Valad Europe as an investment manager.
