Nuveen Real Estate – Carly Tripp has been named CIO for the investment manager’s $88bn (€78.1bn) US investment portfolio, a new role for overseeing overall investment strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and financings. Tripp was previously managing director and global head of real estate and alterantives for the TIAA General Account.

AEW – Bianca Kraus is now director of investor relations in Germany. The appointment follows AEW’s expansion of its German investment management business through the acquisition of Hypoport Invest in December 2018. Kraus was previously head of customer and fund relations at BNP Paribas REIM.

Greystar Real Estate Partners – Terri Herubin is joining the global residential specialist to lead its open-ended fund platform in the US. Herubin, who was previously managing director and real estate senior product specialist at Angelo Gordon, has been appinted managing director of portfolio management.

Cromwell Property Group – Wouter Zwetsloot has been promoted to head of real estate in Europe. He joined Cromwell in 2008 and was most recently managing director of Benelux.

Ostrum Asset Management – The affiliate of Natixis Asset Management has launched a Hong Kong subsidiary to expand its real assets private debt management platform. Charles Regan has been appointed managing director and head of APAC infrastructure real assets private debt, and Alistair Ho is now managing director and head of co-lending for Asia-Pacific. Regan was co-founder and managing director of Windward Capital Asia, and Ho was managing director and head of structured finance for Asia ex-Japan at Mizuho Securities Asia.

Commerz Real – Ulrich Oppermann has been hired to manage the newly-created advisory, mandates and international distribution division. Oppermann was previously head of transactions for Austria and Germany at CBRE Global Investors.

JLL – Neil Murray will take over from John Forrest as global CEO of corporate solutions in June. Forrest is leaving the post in Chicago to return to Australia. Mark Caskey will take over from Murray as EMEA CEO for corporate solutions. Caskey joined JLL in 2016 as head of account management.

CBRE – Sean Choi is now executive director and head of capital markets for Korea. He was previously head of the domestic investment division at Vestas Investment Management.
