CBRE Global InvestorsBernie McNamara has joined the firm as global co-head of investor services and solutions. McNamara will also be responsible for the development and management of portfolio solutions that combine different real asset categories for existing and new investors and distribution channels. McNamara joins from JP Morgan Asset Management, where he most recently served as global head of alternatives investment strategy and solutions.

Nordic Real Estate PartnersClaus Mathisen, a partner, has been appointed to replace Mikkel Bülow-Lehnsby as CEO. Bülow-Lehnsby, one of three co-founders of NREP, will continue full time on the NREP executive committee and take part in setting the strategic direction, investment strategies and business plans. From 2008 to 2017, Mathisen was the CEO of NREP’s operating platform Pelican Self Storage.

PGIM Real Estate – Vincent Chew has joined as an executive director and portfolio manager for PGIM Real Estate’s core investment strategy in Asia. Chew joins from Allianz Real Estate, where he spent 10 years as director of Asia Pacific investment management and launched the team investing into real estate funds, partnership vehicles and direct assets across real estate sectors and risk profiles. Chew will be based in Singapore.

GreystarAXA Investment Managers–Real Assets’ Hideki Kurata has been appointed to lead Greystar’s newly launched platform in France. Kurata has been appointed director general for France, and as the country business lead will oversee a team focused on building a portfolio to include both student housing and multifamily portfolios. Kurata was head of real estate private equity at AXA IM–RA.

CBRE – Chiara Zuccon has joined as senior director to lead debt origination within CBRE’s UK development and residential investment team. She was previously head of private-rented sector at Royal Bank of Scotland. Kathrin Jung has been named director in the EMEA hotel investment team. Jung joins from Deka Immobilien, where she spent the past six years as an investment manager.

VIA Outlets –  The outlet shopping centres joint venture between APG, Hammerson, Value Retail and Meyer Bergman has appointed Otto Ambagtsheer and Peter Stals to the newly created COO and CFO roles respectively. Ambagtsheer most recently served as managing director at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield for Benelux, a role he held since May 2015. Stals joins after nearly five years at BlackRock, where he worked as vice president and then director, serving as head of transaction support and valuations secretary for EMEA real estate.

BC Partners – The alternative investment firm has hired Laurian Douin and Thibault Lauprêtre to join its newly-formed real estate business as managing directors. They join from French property business Altarea Cogedim. Laurian was managing director at Altarea and worked for the firm for 12 years. Lauprêtre spent 11 years at the company, most recently as managing director of mixed-use and office developments.

Henley – The private equity real estate investor has appointed Stuart Savidge to the newly created position of managing director of Henley Funds Management. Savidge, who is currently group CFO, will now be leading the development of a broad fund management business for the group. Ben McComb will be taking on group-wide CFO responsibilities at for Henley’s European and American operations. McComb joins next month from private equity firm Novalpina CapitalWarwick Hunter has been appointed managing director for development and asset management. He joins from Qatari Diar, where he was development director. Hunter will run the Henley Space business, which oversees all of Henley’s construction and development work.

Ancala Midstream Paul Mitchell has been appointed CFO. The infrastructure investment company said he will play a key role in the further development and implementation of its strategic plans. Prior to joining Ancala Midstream, Mitchell was CFO for oil and gas service company Ramco. He also held several managing and financial director roles at companies including Stewart Milne, Sparrows Offshore and Gray & Adams.
