La Française as increased its ownership of La Française Forum Real Estate Partners to 85%.

Members of the platform’s management hold the remaining 15%.

Former joint owner Forum Partners will continue to focus on its core business and real estate private equity, as well as the expansion of its global co-investment programme.

The deal comes two years after the joint acquisition of La Française Forum Real Estate Partners (LFF REP), and three years since the two companies joined forces.

The platform will be rebranded as La Française Real Estate Partners International.

David Rendall, chief executive, and Jens Göttler, managing director, will continue to manage the business and investments together with their current team.

The platform’s existing London-based team has relocated to La Française’s office in Mayfair.

Patrick Rivière, managing director at La Française, said: “La Française is creating synergies across all business lines. With this European real estate investment platform as an integral part of our business unit, we will be able to offer an ever broader range of investment services and further expand our international footprint.”

Earlier this year, La Française took majority ownership of Forum Securities.

Forum transferred an 80% interest in its wholly owned subsidiary, Forum Securities, which manages private investment accounts for institutions and family offices, to La Française.

Infrastructure and commodities, a Sharia-compliant listed real estate investment fund, listed green real estate funds and sector-specific listed real estate funds are all being lined up by the platform, re-branded La Française Forum Securities, with Jana Sehnalova, portfolio manager in Singapore, serving as global head and managing director.

La Française and Forum Partners bought Cushman & Wakefield Investors, a pan-European fund manager with $1.2bn in assets under management, in 2014.
